Norman Lewis

Digital Multi-Media Specialist

A worldwide expert on future trends in Voice and messaging, and co-author of the Voice & Messaging 2.0 research. Dr Norman Lewis is also the Chief Strategy Officer, Wireless Grids Corporation, USA. Prior to joining WGC, he was the Director of Technology Research for Orange UK, formerly the Home Division of France Telecom where he was at the forefront of developing an integrated Telco approach to the emerging Web2.0 ecosphere. Currently the Chairman of the ITU's TELECOM Forum Programme Committee and an advisory board member of the Ecomm08 programme committee. Previously an Executive Board member of the MIT Communications Futures Programme.

Chris Barraclough

MD & Founder STL Partners / Telco 2.0™

MD and consulting lead for Telco 2.0 and key report author. 18 years experience in strategy, marketing and finance; 12 years in TMT. During this time he has worked extensively in both the wired and wireless sectors, including stints as Marketing Director at MCI WorldCom UK and Orange Group. He specialises in strategic analysis and proposition development and has developed strategies for new products, services and businesses for several operators and vendor companies in the UK and across EMEA and North America. Additional consulting experience with Bain, Gemini Consulting, Cambrian, Oxford Strategic Marketing, Burlington. MA, Oxford University.

Philip Laidler

Consultant, STL Partners/Telco 2.0™ Initiative

17 years experience in strategy, marketing and corporate development; 12 years in TMT. Philip has worked for fixed and wired operators both as a senior executive and consultant. His focus in on strategic planning, corporate development and strategic marketing. He held senior management roles for 7 years at MCI International including strategy,; product management and business transformation Additional consulting experience with Braxton Associates, Cambridge Strategic Management Group and DDV-Logica. He has an MSc from the London School of Economics and an MA from Cambridge University.

Alex Harrowell

Senior Analyst, STL Partners / Telco 2.0™

Key Telco 2.0™ blogger and co-author of the research on Future Broadband Business Models, 2-Sided Business Model, and Voice & Messaging 2.0. Alex used to write for leading industry magazine Mobile Communications International, where he specialised in network infrastructure and related issues. He's been blogging independently since 2003, a passion which saw him short-listed for UK newspaper The Guardian's Political Blog of the Year award in 2004. His specialist subjects include MVNOs, IMS, SDP, core networks, and UMTS-TDD, as well as telecoms policy and economics.
