Supply Chain Collaboration

A huge proportion of operational costs are stuck in the supply chain. Yet, in traditional vendor-client relationships there are little incentives to collaborate beyond the boundaries of procurement deals.

Most telco players are stuck at Stage One or possibly Two on the SCOR (supply chain maturity model, based on the ability to share information and collaborate effectively across multiple layers of complex value chains). Yet many IT organizations can rightly claim to be at levels Three, Four, or even Five.

STL believes that telco can learn a lot from IT in this arena. STL helps telcos to collaborate with multiple organizations to streamline their supply chains.
